Last night, I watched "Hairspray" at the Theater of Star City with my Dad. It is very exciting because I also saw the movie on DVD.
It started when Tracy Turnblad was sleeping. When she woke up, she sang a song called "Good Morning Baltimore." The song was very good!
After that song, she was watching the Corny Collins show. Then, she heard that there is a girl going on vacation, so there will be an audition to replace her. And that was how Tracy became famous.
My favorite song is "Good Morning Baltimore" because they sing it with feeling.
My favorite character is Penny because she is so funny!
My favorite part of the story is when Tracy was in prison, and Link and Tracy kiss. It is lovely.
So kids, if your parents allow you to watch Hairspray with them, go! I think it will be very fun for you!
